KCST 2010 Summer Entertainment Give-Away Contest Rules

Contest Give-Aways: Begin JULY 7TH 2010

Coast Broadcasting Company, FM 106.9 KCST will conduct the 2010 Summer Entertainment Contest Give-aways substantially as described in these rules:

1.  How to Enter: 

No purchase is necessary.

Purchase does not increase odds of winning.

You must be 18 years or older to enter and win.

Limited to one winner Per household Within a 30 day period

Odds of winning vary greatly depending on number of entrants.  Register by visiting a participating Merchant sponsor of the 2010 Summer Entertainment Give-Away promotion listed in the Participating Merchants page.  Deadline for registration is 3pm on Wednesday, August 11th 2010, two days prior to the Grand Drawing Friday, August 13th, 2010 One entry – per person – per day – per location.  All entries must be on an official KCST Entry Form.  Mechanically reproduced entries will automatically be deemed invalid.   Valid contest entries must contain all information requested.  All entry forms must be complete and/or legible.  Incomplete and illegible forms will be deemed invalid.

How To Play: Winner(s) will be randomly selected from entries received at various Merchant Sponsor locations; Grand Prize drawings will be conducted at KCST Radio Center Studios from all remaining entry forms entered at all Merchant Sponsor locations by 3pm the day prior to the Grand Prize Drawings.  Winners of each daily drawing and the Grand Prize Drawings will be announced live on the air. 

Notification:  Winners will be announced at the time of the drawing on air, and notified by telephone following the drawing.  All prizes un-claimed after 48 hours will be mailed to the winner when applicable* KCST radio will not be responsible for prizes undelivered or lost in the mail.   

* If a winner cannot be contacted the Company reserves the right to select another winner in its sole discretion.

2. Prize(s).
Prizes will be selected prior to the drawing.  Prizes cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.  Entrants need not be present to win.  Retail value of each give-away varies and is determined by the submitting promoter or venue.  If a winner is disqualified, Coast Broadcasting Company, inc. – KCST FM 106.9 reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner’s prize, in its sole discretion.

3. Eligibility and Limitations.
Participants and winner(s), if applicable, must be legal U.S. residents at least 18-years old as determined by Coast Broadcasting Company, inc – KCST FM 106.9. Winner assumes all liability for use of the prize. Only one (1) prize per household in a 30 day period of winning of any Coast Broadcasting Company, inc. contest prize. KCST Radio employees and family members within their house hold are not eligible to participate or win.

4. Miscellaneous.
Coast Broadcasting Company, inc. may substitute prizes, amend the rules or discontinue the Contest at any time.  For a copy of the rules, or where required by law, a list of winners, please send your request by mail with a stamped, self-addressed return envelope with contest name and addressed to:

All entries become the property of the Company and will not be returned.

5. Compliance with Law.
The conduct of this contest is governed by the applicable laws of the Unites States of America, which take precedence over all and any rules to the contrary herein. Station(s) shall follow the applicable laws for conducting contests, including notice to the state attorney general or consumer affairs office, posting of a prize bond, furnishing lists of winners, running specific on-air disclaimers, providing specific written information about the Contest, etc. as required by local and state law.
